I am a 30-something woman still trying to figure out what she wants to be when she grows up. I used to always answer "to be happy" when asked what my long term goals were in highschool and college. Who knew that would be so difficult to achieve at times? Each day is an opportunity to move closer and closer to that ultimate goal. I've got a small readership, made surprisingly of quite a few folks I know in real life. Many are especially skeptical about privacy and this whole internet thing -- I fully respect that. I also gett a little wigged out about it from time to time. Don't tell my Mom you saw me here, k? I won't tell yours either.

I am happy that the 4th of 4 voice mail messages when I arrived at work this morning was my mother's voice singing "Happy Birthday."

I'll have to take you up on a rendition of that this weekend!
I got singing calls from M&K (as to be expected), dad, RS (former Director at OC), and the in-laws. Many more well wishers including an email from Mr. I Scott.... you know the one! SG is keeping him up to date all these years later.
