I am a 30-something woman still trying to figure out what she wants to be when she grows up. I used to always answer "to be happy" when asked what my long term goals were in highschool and college. Who knew that would be so difficult to achieve at times? Each day is an opportunity to move closer and closer to that ultimate goal. I've got a small readership, made surprisingly of quite a few folks I know in real life. Many are especially skeptical about privacy and this whole internet thing -- I fully respect that. I also gett a little wigged out about it from time to time. Don't tell my Mom you saw me here, k? I won't tell yours either.

A good friend is off to Italy toward the end of this week. Helen just got back from a long weekend in Venice. Read about it here: Everyday Stranger. What I really like about her post is how real it is. She and her man seem to get into similar situations that I do with HUSband. And, after reading the comments, it seems incredibly common.
