Where All My Time Goes

I am a 30-something woman still trying to figure out what she wants to be when she grows up. I used to always answer "to be happy" when asked what my long term goals were in highschool and college. Who knew that would be so difficult to achieve at times? Each day is an opportunity to move closer and closer to that ultimate goal. I've got a small readership, made surprisingly of quite a few folks I know in real life. Many are especially skeptical about privacy and this whole internet thing -- I fully respect that. I also gett a little wigged out about it from time to time. Don't tell my Mom you saw me here, k? I won't tell yours either.

August Happiness #20

Good news on the job front - - I talked to the VP of Old Company again yesterday. She is in the process of getting a Req approved for a position to bring me back. She said she expects to be able make me an offer early this week. Yippee! I am good, damnit!

Sarah Barah said...: see - - i'm not sure if it will work w/ her vacation schedule. she's going to be out 8/30 through 9/10. two full weeks! i'm a little jealous about that in the first place, but i'll not go there just now. i do have an interview at Big Computer Company on 8/25, and i think i might as well still go. so, i don't know that i want to officially give notice at Current Company. i do feel confident enough at this point that i will likely give Current Boss a heads up this week that i will likely leave by the end of sept. if i can hang on here 'til 10/1, i'll get in on one more discount purchase of the stock through the ESPP. so many variables!; 6:04 PM
